Ingredients: onion, water, lemongrass, sugar, pineapple, ginger flower, palm oil, tamarind, mint, salt, shrimp paste, chilli, tumeric

Cooking Instructions: Boil and debone fish. Use the fish stock and add to Penang Assam Laksa paste. To make it more sour, add pineapple juice, vinegar or tamarind paste. In all, one packet of paste should make up to 1.5 L of soup. Add more water if needed. Serve with thick rice noodle, fresh mint, canned pineapple, fish meat, hot mint, sliced onion, lettuce and prawn paste. Penang Assam Laksa paste is ideal to cook fish curry by adding less water.
