Prawn crackers are also known as shrimp chips - the ones  you find in most Chinese takeaway restaurants! These light and crunchy crackers simply need to be fried in hot oil for a few seconds until they ‘puff’ into shape. Double Phoenix Prawn Crackers can be used as a cooking decorative of Chinese dishes or as finger food.

Ingredients:

Starch (Tapioca), Prawn Meat (4%), Salt, Sugar, Flavour Enhancer (E621), Colours (E102, E124).

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer to around 190C. Prawn crackers burn easily, keep heat constant throughout
2. Add prawn crackers 3-5 at a time. Deep-fry for 10 seconds or until the cracker expands
3. Remove and drain on absorbent paper

Once opened store in an air-tight container.
