🌿 What It Is

A Japanese over‑the‑counter (OTC) medicine from Taisho Pharmaceutical. It’s designed to treat coughs accompanied by sore or irritated throat, and mucus (phlegm). It has three actions — suppresses cough reflex, soothes inflammation, and helps loosen or clear phlegm.

🧬 What’s Inside (Ingredients & Dosage)

Dextromethorphan hydrobromide (デキストロメトルファン) – 15 mg Cough center suppressant (reduces cough reflex) 
Chlorpheniramine maleate (クロルフェニラミンマレイン酸塩) – 3 mg Anti‑histamine, helps reduce throat discomfort, helps calm cough 
Methoxyphenamine hydrochloride (メトキシフェナミン塩酸塩) – 37.5 mg Bronchodilator / helps open airway 
Tranexamic acid (トラネキサム酸) – 70 mg Anti‑inflammatory / helps reduce inflammation that causes cough & throat pain 

⏱ How to Use

  • Dosage: 1 tablet per dose, three times a day after meals, plus before bed if cough is still troublesome. 

  • Age recommendation: For 15 years old and above. Not for children under 15. 

  • Take with water or lukewarm water. 

⚠️ Safety, Warnings & Precautions

  • Do not use if you have known allergies to any of the ingredients. 

  • If pregnant, nursing, elderly, or under medical care, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. 

  • Avoid using other cough or cold medications that contain similar active ingredients to prevent overdose.
