A unique blend of spices concentrated for maximum flavour. This box contains about nine servings of spicy Java Curry, made with a combination of herbs, spices and fruits (including coriander, tangerine, garlic and onion) and only a minimal amount of oil so as not to dilute the flavour impact. All you need to make a delicious Japan-style curry now are your favourite meats and root vegetables.


Japanese curry was introduced to Japan from the British during the Meiji era of the 1800s and has now become one of the most popular Japanese foods. Markedly different to Indian curries, Japanese curry has a slightly sweet flavour and tends to be enjoyed with chicken or pork pieces, or chicken or pork fried katsu cutlets.

How To Use

• Preheat 2 tbsp oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add 500g cubed meat, two sliced onions, two cubed potatoes and one sliced carrot. Cook well.
• Add 1.3L water and allow everything to simmer over low-medium heat for approx. 15 mins.
• Remove pot from heat. Break curry sauce mix and add to the pot. Stir until it is all blended.
• Put pot back onto a low heat and simmer for approx. 10 mins. Serve over cooked rice or pasta. Serves 9.
