ASPARAGUS (ASPARAGUS OFFICINALIS)
A spring vegetable, early long straight medium dark green spears. Can be eaten raw in salad, boiled or stir-fried. Good source of vitamins A, C and phosphorus. Long term consumption can heal Gastric cancer.
Growing Guide: Planting time is Spring or Autumn. Suitable temperature 20 - 30 degrees. Requires full sunlight and a well-drained sandy soil. Plant seeds 30 cm apart. Takes 14 - 21 days to germinate. Plants take time to establish. Water frequently. Harvest in 60 - 90 days.
To avoid lower germination rate, please store the sealed packet in a cool, dark & dry place and plant the seeds as soon as possible.
